Something For The Youth

I'm not sure if I'm more surprised at how many great hardcore records are being released this year, or the fact that so many of them were released by Triple B. I'm not sure when the last time I was this stoked on new hardcore records. In fact, I'm enjoying it so much that I've even committed to going to the American Hardcore fest that Triple B is putting on next weekend...well, I'm not going to the entire fest, let's not lose our minds here, but I am going to the matinee show this Saturday. That show has a great line up with some of my favorite bands from this year, so it should be a good time.

One of the bands that I'm looking forward to checking out this Saturday is Restraining Order. I checked out their 7 inch on New Age Records last year, and thought they were pretty good, but their latest album really surprised me. This record is a lot of fun, and I'm digging their snotty energetic punk sound. This shit makes me want to move, so I'm hoping they get a good crowd response at the show.

Thankfully, I got news of this new record in plenty of time for me to check out an advance song, and get in for the preorder. Green colored vinyl is limited to 215.

Rev wanted to sign this band but they decided to go with Triple B instead. Interesting huh?
